Stephen Timon, M.D.

Background

Dr. Timon was born and raised in New York. He attended college at Cornell University in New York, where he was a member of the 1990 Ivy League Championship Football team. He graduated with honors from Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Timon completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and his spine fellowship training at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University. He has been practicing in Texas since 2003.

His practice is focused on the treatment of spinal disorders. Dr. Timon's areas of expertise include cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery. He is fellowship trained in scoliosis, complex spinal reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive spinal procedures. He has a broad background in both the care of non-operative and surgical spinal disorders in adults.

He is an active member of the North American Spine Society. He maintains an active research interest and has participated in numerous clinical studies. Dr. Timon has authored multiple articles and has presented numerous papers at international, national and local meetings.
